Looking for some assistance with ClassiPress? We provide support to those who have purchased any version of ClassiPress in our forum. If you are interested in purchasing ClassiPress but have questions you need answered first, you can post them in our “Pre-Sales Questions” forum. We urge you to first spend time trolling through the forum and product pages before making your purchase so you get a better understanding of ClassiPress.
We are usually here to answer your questions during normal business hours which are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (UTC -07:00) and frequently reply to forum posts within 48 hours. To save everyone time and to get an answer more quickly, we recommend reading and searching the forums before posting a new question. Most times your question has already been answered by someone else.

General Questions (FAQ)
Q: I just purchased this theme online and didn’t get a confirmation email. What do I do?
A: It’s quite common for the confirmation emails to get delivered to your spam mail folder. They will be sent from e-junkie.com and will contain the download link. Also double check the email address you used via your PayPal account. Sometimes people have another email address on file (i.e. info@mydomain.com) and your confirmation email gets sent there instead.
Q: A new version of ClassiPress recently came out and I want to know what the changes are. How can I find out?
A: You can view the changelog.txt and the blog usually has a post about the newest version.
Q: I purchased an older version of ClassiPress and would like to get the latest version. How do I download it?
A: The original confirmation email you received from e-junkie has a link to the download. That will always have the latest version. If the link no longer works or you cannot find your original email, please email us at the address listed below.

Q: I have purchased a single license of ClassiPress but want to upgrade to the developer license. How can I do this?
A: Instructions on how to upgrade are listed at the bottom of our buy page. After you have paid the difference for the upgrade, we will need to send you the developer pack so please contact us after your purchase at the following address.

Q: Is ClassiPress a WordPress plugin and can it work with my existing site?
A: No. ClassiPress is a premium classified ads WordPress theme and not just a simple plugin. Because managing classified ads is complex, ClassiPress is designed as a standalone theme to replace your existing theme. It does also work in conjunction with your existing website but you will need to create a separate instance of WordPress in a sub-directory. For example, http://www.test.com is your current WordPress site. You will need to install another copy of WordPress in http://www.test.com/classifieds/ which is where you’d use the ClassiPress theme.
Q: What are the requirements to use ClassiPress?
A: ClassiPress does not work as a standalone solution. It is a theme which runs on the free CMS blogging software, WordPress which requires a web server such as apache, a mySQL database, and PHP. If your hosting provider allows WordPress to run on it (over 95% of them do), then ClassiPress should work fine. You will also need FTP access to upload the theme and admin permissions to change/create folders. This is very common for any web hosting provider. We are partners with some of the best affordable and reliable web hosting providers out there today. They are certified WordPress partners and will have no problem running ClassiPress.
Q: Does ClassiPress encode or encrypt the theme source code?
A: No. Unlike some classified ads software, once you purchase ClassiPress you will get full access to the code and can modify it however you please. We believe in creativity and encourage customers to enhance or customize ClassiPress to fit their business if need be.
Q: I love ClassiPress but want to change the design around to better fit my site. How can I do this?
A: If you are familiar with WordPress theme files, css, and html then you should have no problem customizing ClassiPress to match your existing website. This is not covered under the ClassiPress support package so it will be up to the community to answer your questions. For starters, you’ll want to edit the header.php and style.css files. If you aren’t technical then I’d recommend hiring a WordPress consultant.
Q: Does ClassiPress have partner web sites that can legally sell or distribute the theme?
A: No. Any other site you find selling or providing a copy of ClassiPress for free are unauthorized and breaking the law. They may claim to be “licensed resellers” or “distributors” but there is no such thing. Also, downloading a nulled version (free copy) from other web sites is very dangerous. You have no idea what malicious code has been added to the theme and risk losing your web site and database. Read this article and this article for more details.
